A Long House, 2024

To efficiently utilize the space in small but long-structured apartments, we  considered the layout carefully. Simultaneously, we researched the lifestyles and  habits of the residents to design the kitchen and furniture accordingly.

AB Table for a Long House, 2024

The design is inspired by the characteristics of a long house, using different shapes  and materials for each countertop to create a three-dimensional experience and  design that allows individuals to use their time differently.

Kitchen for Stena, 2023

This is a kitchen project for the home appliance brand "Stena," which focuses on  everyday life. We propose an open kitchen concept that considers communication  with Stena's customers and users' needs. Instead of traditional kitchen appliances,  each piece of furniture is designed to perform its function and be expandable.

Reel Lamp, 2022
Steel bar, Electric cable
(30.3 x 11.8 x 11.8 cm)

A lamp is an object that emits light by converting electrical energy through electric  current into light energy. Through the Reel Lamp, Spatial Semiology reveals the  electric wire, the component that is an essential accessory to the light but has been  hidden as a “part,” as the primary material. The loose wire becomes a hard skin that  wraps around the structure, and the transparent skin gently diffuses light. The  overall shape was inspired by the Korean traditional ‘Eole,’ a tool for winding threads.

Lee Yang hee’s Atelier, 2022

"Improvisation and Ensemble" is furniture made for the studio of Lee Yang-hee, a  choreographer actively working in order to expand the subject and concept of  choreography. Inspired by Lee's way of "expanding" her body and movement into her space and daily environment, Spatial Semiology designed a multidirectional desk,  enabling a flexible utilization.
